John E. Rock earned a degree in English and couldn’t figure out what to do with it. Soon afterward, the Lord saved his soul and set him in a life of ministry.
Throughout his years as a nondenominational pastor, he worked a number of side jobs, including journalism.
The author’s additional interests include music (he plays drums, piano and guitar), snowmobiling, camping, motorcycling and competition shooting. For many years, he lived off grid. Now, he and his wife raise goats, chickens, dogs and a rather pathetic garden in the great Northwest.
There is no graphic sex, or profanity in his novels. He writes clean, Christian, Bible-based post-apocalyptic novels with lots of action, plot twists and surprises.
